History Lesson

The Community Association has been around since the 30’s, officially forming in 1975 and as a BC registered non-profit in 1993. In 2019, the previous executive of the CLCA transitioned to a new group after a minor two-year hiatus and continued the work of keeping the leaseholders and full time residents represented and informed.

Purpose

The purpose of the Society is to:

  • Promote discussion and the exchange of ideas regarding Cultus Lake Park among and between the residents and leaseholders of Cultus Lake Park.
  • Promote communication between the residents and leaseholders of Cultus Lake Park and the Cultus Lake Park Board, Fraser Valley Regional District and other stakeholders.
  • Encourage efforts and activities directed toward the improvement of the Park as both a recreational facility and a residential community.
  • Promote the preservation of the natural beauty of Cultus Lake Park consistent with above.
  • Work to ensure appropriate participation of residents and leaseholders of the Cultus Lake Park in all decision making processes and political affairs which affect Cultus Lake Park.
